How and why do individuals change their minds?

This assignment was to assess our reading comprehension skills as well as our writing skills. So for this project we had to read the article and apply what we learned from the article and put it in a five paragraph essay. And we also had to prove our point of view on how we think individuals change their minds.
The 21st-century skills that I think best represents this project was informational skills. I think this because while reading the article I was taking in so much information and I had to apply it in the essay that I would be writing. And I personally feel that that is the very definition of information skills is taking something that you are learning and teaching others with it newly information that you have contained. The thing that I am most proud of was my ability to comprehend the reading of the article and put it into my own words of how I think people change their minds. And reading some parts of the article I felt that I really related to and I could easily portray the article in my essay. he most difficult part of this assignment for me personally was the amount of time that we got. This was kind of similar to a timed essay where we had a certain set amount of time that we had to complete the reading and the writing of this assignment. And I am a bit of a perfectionist so I obviously could’ve done better quality of work if I had more time but definitely being on that time crunch put a dent in the quality of my essay. If I could start over I would relate the article that I read and incorporate it more into my essay than I did originally. There was many different sections to the article that we read in class and I think I only use two of the examples and I applied them in my essay and I feel if I applied more I would’ve had a better outcome and better quality work. |
